What’s the best way to package art and photos for shipping?

The best way to ship photos is to group similar sizes together in a larger bag. The larger bag can have some slack, but just make sure it's not too loose a fit. So, for example, you can package 5" x 7" or 8" x 10" together in one bag. This can be done with or without using chipboard. Most customers find that chipboard is not necessary for shipping. If you want more support in addition to the plastic sleeves, you can always add either chipboard or a rigid mailer.

You should also consider using our air-safe art and photo shipping boxes. They have been called the "tank of shipping boxes."

We actually wrote an entire blog post on this subject to help you be a master art and photo mailer.
