What is NatureFlex material?
NatureFlex™ films are based on cellulose derived from renewable wood pulp. It is from this material the name cello (or cellulose) bags originated. True cello bags are compostable and a sustainable alternative to traditional poly products. NatureFlex™ cellulose film are certified home compostable by the Biodegradable Products Institute (BPI) and are ASTM 6400 and EN 13432 certified.
Most "cello" bags you find today are actually made of polypropylene rather than true cellulose material. At ClearBags, we offer both poly bags made from polypropylene and cello bags made from NatureFlex™ cellulose film.
