I package food, and my purchases for food packaging are tax exempt. I am not required to have a tax exemption certificate. How do I provide this information to ClearBags so that my order will be processed as ‘tax exempt’?

For California companies or companies whose qualifying purchases will ship to California, please provide this information to us in writing. A letter, email, or a completed California Resale Certificate, noting that you are packaging food, will work. Please submit your documentation via email at salestax@clearbags.com, or via fax at 916-933-4717.

If a similar rule applies to a different state, please let our Customer Service team know. They will put you in touch with our Accounting team to get you set up.
