How does a vent hole work and do I need one?

Vent holes are tiny holes that are typically at the top of the bag right below the zipper. Vent holes allow air to escape when the bag is closed all the way. Whether or not you need one depends on the product you’re trying to package and the way in which you’re trying to package it. They are usually great for products that do not spoil when exposed to outside air, such as stationery products. Consult with one of our packaging experts to be sure if you need one or not.
