Are your stand-up pouches recyclable?
All traditional stand-up pouches are not well-suited for recyclability. This is because most of them are a high-barrier, which is achieved by doing a lamination of multiple layers of different plastic materials. Recycling facilities separate plastics by type and laminated materials make it difficult to separate the types of plastic, thus making the product difficult to recycle.
