What is PLA material?

PLA stands for polylactic acid. It is a product that’s derived from a plant. Usually, the plant is corn but it could be sugar or sugar beets. It is a product that, in the production process, can be made clear and resembles a standard poly bag. PLA products are compostable and made from sustainable materials.
